Midway Community Services District

The Board of Directors of the Midway Community Services District is accepting applications from qualified residents in serving on the Board of Directors.

A vacancy occurred following the passing of Director Calos Mendoza on July 9, 2026.  The Board intends to fill the vacancy by appointment pursuant to Government Code section 1780.
 

Qualifications

Applicant must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be a registered voter;
• Reside within the boundaries of the District; and
• Meet all qualifications required by California law.

The appointed director will serve until the newly elected director takes office following the November 3, 2026 election. Applications are available at the District Office and must be received no later than:

Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.

The Board expects to review applications before its regular meeting on Monday, August 10, 2026, at which time it will make the appointment.
